Seeking an Aerospace Design Engineer for a high growth metal fabrication and development client in the West Point, VA area.
The Aerospace Design Engineer would be responsible for:
- System & Product Development: Design, develop, and improve mechanical, electromechanical, structural, and weapons systems-spanning new concepts, prototypes, and mature products.
- Design Analysis: Evaluate critical factors including strength-to-weight efficiency, part interchangeability, maintenance, costs, and contractual specifications.

responsibilities:
- System & Product Development: Design, develop, and improve mechanical, electromechanical, structural, and weapons systems-spanning new concepts, prototypes, and mature products.
- Design Analysis: Evaluate critical factors including strength-to-weight efficiency, part interchangeability, maintenance, costs, and contractual specifications.
- DFMA Integration: Apply Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) principles to all product and component solutions.
- TDP Creation: Technical Data Packages (TDPs) including modeling, drafting, and checking drawings for details, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
- Quality & Disposition: Evaluate and provide engineering dispositions for Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
