The EDD Administration Branch is soliciting candidates to apply for a Budget Analyst position in the Budget & Forecasting Section in the Fiscal Programs Division. Under the supervision of the Supervisor I, the Budget Analyst will learn the varied range of duties associated with the positions in the Section. The incumbent will perform the duties related to the varied programs within the Section, learn the full range of duties and responsibilities, and be provided with the necessary training to move into the full-journey level. All work performed will require collaboration with other Departmental staff to determine any necessary ledger adjustments, obligational authority, or other actions required.
The Budget & Forecasting Section programs include the Budget Coordination Unit; Department Budget Unit; Federal Benefits & Program Appeals Unit; Tax Collection & Benefit Payments Unit; Workforce Services Unit, and Program Estimates & Automation Unit. Staff may be provided the opportunity to move between Budget Section programs to obtain greater staff development and ensure cross training.
