In this role, your technical expertise and leadership will directly shape meaningful natural gas and infrastructure projects. We’re looking for someone with strong client relations skills, leadership qualities, a can-do attitude, and a drive to execute projects that positively impact the communities we serve.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and manage the technical delivery of natural gas and municipal projects.
  • Communicate with clients regarding current projects and collaborate with project managers and our business development team to identify and position the firm to successfully win future work.
  • Provide direction, mentorship, and support to technical staff.
  • Support project managers in preparing and managing project scope, budget, and schedule, and prepare deliverables.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships alongside business development teams.

Qualifications:

  • Registered PE in the states of Washington and/or Oregon, or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
  • 3- 5 years of design experience in transportation, gas pipeline, roadway, energy, or utilities.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and design technicians.
  • Demonstrated ability to support projects from conception to completion, including scoping, budgeting, scheduling, design coordination, construction support, and project delivery within municipal and gas projects.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based on candidate experience and qualifications, as well as various market and business considerations.

The wage range for this position is $105,000-$125,000 per year, depending on experience 

Full-time employees receive a well-rounded benefit package including access to our company-sponsored Medical (including an HSA High Deductible option), Dental, Vision, FSA, and Supplemental Life Insurance plans. We also offer 100% company-paid Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability coverage. Employees are eligible to participate in our company’s 401(k) plan with up to a 4% match. Additionally, employees also receive paid vacation time, paid sick time, and 11 paid holidays. MacKay Sposito pays for expenses associated with licensure as well as annual performance-based bonuses.

Employment requires passing a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
