Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading supplier of various racking and storage solutions looking to recruit a Graduate/Junior Project Manager to work in a role managing their ongoing racking projects across Yorkshire and the UK. • Managing the company’s projects to fit customers’ requirements for racking and storage
• Creating project plans to fit with the expectations of the company’s clients; liaising with them throughout the duration of the project
• Working closely with manufacturers of racking, flagging up any issues throughout timeline of project delivery
• Overseeing cost management and working with external contractors to maximize the efficiency of project completion
• Visiting sites regularly across Yorkshire and the rest of the UK to liaise with clients and oversee project progress

Requirements

The company are open to exploring different types of candidates such as someone working within the racking & storage industry who wants to get into project management. They would also be interested in speaking to graduates who have qualifications in project/construction management or similar. Another option would be someone with project management experience from a closely related industry. In terms of location, the ideal candidate would be based within commutable distance of Wakefield as there will be an expectation to attend the office. A full UK driver’s license is also a requirement as the position will require national travel.

Having been established for a number of years they have a strong setup and footing in the racking market across the UK. Their range of racking products include pallet, narrow aisle, push back and wide aisle in addition to shelving.
