Senior Salesforce Administrator
In this function, you will be accountable for maintaining, enhancing, and expanding our fast-growing Salesforce ecosystem. Our institution relies on this platform for a range of critical functions, including student application initiation, application processing, lead generation management, faculty course assignment, faculty payments, student advising, and other vital university operations. Your main goal will be to refine and optimize these processes to meet the dynamic needs of our academic institution. Furthermore, you will work closely with our integrations team to resolve data inconsistencies, evaluate new data integrations, and recommend upgrades to the existing data architecture. Concurrently, you will partner with strategic business users, stakeholders, and leadership abilities to comprehend and incorporate functionality into Salesforce, maximizing the platform's effectiveness. Your skills and guidance will play a crucial function in driving the overall business strategies for our stakeholders. this job offer reports directly to the Director of SaaS Systems Support.
tasks and Responsibilities
»Design and maintain Salesforce automations to enhance system data and functionality using Apex, Flows and Process Builders.
»Develop and manage Salesforce applications by leveraging objects, fields, page layouts, list views, reports/dashboards, and other components.
»Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Marketing and Integrations, to enforce data hygiene and ensure data integrity while assisting in the creation of new data integrations and mappings to expand Salesforce capabilities.
»Plan, design, and develop innovative applications using the Lightning platform.
»Administer security configurations, including profiles, functions, permission sets, and sharing rules, to maintain a secure and compliant system.
»Stay updated on Salesforce releases and platform enhancements, assess their impact on the organization, and implement necessary changes to capitalize on new features and improvements.
»Collaborate with project managers, department stakeholders, consultants, and other Salesforce Administrators to effectively complete tasks.
»Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Salesforce operations and procedures.
»Develop, manage, and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and analytics, as well as custom report types and folder management, to deliver actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
»Provide support for tools such as SMS Magic, Form Assembly, SUMO Scheduler, Dynamic Lookup Rollup Summary,
»Work cross-functionally to reduce technical debt and streamline system maintenance.
»Change Management: Implement and enforce change management processes, including release management, sandbox management, and deployment best practices, to ensure a reliable and predictable environment.
»Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Regularly monitor system performance, identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, and ensure the platform operates at optimal levels.
Qualifications required
»Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
»Salesforce Administrator Certification
»Four (4) years practice as a Certified Salesforce Administrator.
» practice with Salesforce Service Cloud, Communities, and EDA model.
»Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform including configuration of custom objects, workflow rules, process builder, validation rules, etc.
»Knowledge of Salesforce API’s on how to integrate with 3rd party tools.
Completed end-to-end implementations.
» practice integrating and configuring Salesforce connected apps such as Remedyforce, FormAssembly, Conga, SUMO Scheduler, SMS Text, Marketo, Hyland Connector, Elements.cloud, Druva, Qlik, and others.
»Strong knowledge of ETL integrations with connected databases and hands-on practice in performing complex data loads.
»Strong knowledge of Release Management.
»Strong knowledge of ITSM framework
»Strong knowledge on Automated Testing Framework
