Job Description
Day to Day:
Insight Global is looking for a paint maintenance technician that can:
Perform mechanical maintenance including greasing/oiling gearboxes and chains.
Inspect and maintain paint kitchen systems.
Support and maintain - 100 paint pumps.
De-energize and replace paint pumps as needed.
Work with sledge systems and overspray equipment.
Handle chemicals and support pure-water creation processes.
Maintain fan systems (6 total) and abatement systems.
Work with burner controls, specifically ovens.
Fabrication skills: basic design and machine functionality.
Welding: TIG (80%) and Stick (20%).
Compensation: $35/hr

Skills and Requirements
Qualifications:
Associate's in Engineering Science/Technology or 5+ years of relevant experience.
Experience working with burner controls (oven experience preferred).
Experience with PLC Control Logix.
Ability to read mechanical/electrical prints and follow industrial safety standards.
Knowledge in HMI software programming (Simplicity preferred).
Ability to lift up to 20-50 lbs. Preferred:
Bilingual in English & Spanish.
Fabrication skills: basic design and machine functionality.
Welding: TIG (80%) and Stick (20%).
