Job Summary (SAS Viya4 Administrator/Consultant/Admin/Architect)



Core Responsibilities:
- Administer, operate, and maintain SAS Viya 4 environments deployed on Kubernetes.
- Perform upgrades, patching, configuration changes, and certificate management for SAS Viya 4 platforms.
- Monitor platform health, logs, and performance across Viya services and supporting infrastructure.
- Manage users, groups, roles, permissions, and access controls within SAS Environment Manager.
- Support and develop entities, pages, alerts, and workflows in SAS Visual Investigator.
- Assist with operation and maintenance of SAS Studio, Visual Analytics, and Visual Investigator.
- Configure and support authentication and authorization integrations; troubleshoot role and permission issues.
- Ensure platform compliance with security and government standards (e.g., RBAC, auditability).
- Build trusted relationships with clients by providing guidance and setting expectations.
- Translate client business needs into effective SAS Viya solutions.
- Deliver targeted project results as an expert in SAS methodologies and technologies.
- Provide data and analytical expertise to support project objectives.
- Participate in product and solution training to maintain up-to-date SAS knowledge.
- Collaborate with sales team to strategize and provide solution leadership for opportunities.
- Work 100% on-site at a Northern Virginia client location.



Requirements:
- Proficiency in SAS Viya 4 administration and upgrades.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, OpenShift, or equivalent).
- Experience troubleshooting large-scale containerized applications.
- Must be a US citizen, located in or willing to relocate to the Washington DC area.
- Must be willing to obtain TS/SCI w/polygraph clearance and work on-site up to 5 days/week.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.



Preferred Qualifications:
- Existing Top Secret clearance with CI or full-scope polygraph.
- Master s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Background in analytics, business intelligence, or data management.
- Knowledge of SAS products and peripheral technologies.
- Prior Federal government experience.
- Understanding of open-source programming languages.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
