As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Mahwah NJ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. Pay Rate: $26.13 / Hour

Day Time

02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors and staff by following site-specific procedures access protocols and emergency response activities appropriate for a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility lobby areas restricted spaces and exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances exits and sensitive areas verify credentials and/or permissions and support property control procedures consistent with the needs of a financial institution location.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with post orders remain prepared to address elevated-risk situations and complete required reports related to patrol activity incidents and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A concealed carry weapons permit is required.
• Retired or Current Law enforcement or retired corrections is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
