Applicants must be within driving distance to our Alpharetta, GA office to be considered for this role and have the ability to commute to the office a minimum of three days per week.

A day in the life.

As an Employee Health & Benefits Employee Benefit Eligibility Specialist , you will:

• Process employee benefit enrollments , terminations , and changes due to qualifying new hires , terminations , qualifying life events , name and address changes , and open enrollment elections for small group health plans .

• Utilize carrier portals and proprietary company systems to submit , update , and log benefit elections and changes accurately and in a timely manner .

• Communicate with insurance carriers to resolve discrepancies or issues related to benefit elections .

• Maintain accurate records of all benefit transactions , ensuring compliance with company service standards and regulatory requirements .

• Send email confirmations to clients regarding enrollment status and changes , ensuring clear , professional , and timely communication .

• Collaborate with internal teams to support smooth benefits administration and resolve any system or process issues .

• Continuously learn and adapt to new systems , software , and carrier portal updates .

• Adhere to company policies , procedures , and values including Integrity , Collaboration , Passion , Innovation, and Accountability .

We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

• Prior experience in insurance , benefits administration, or customer service is beneficial but not required .

• Experience working with online portals or data entry systems is a plus .

• Strong computer proficiency , including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

• Ability to quickly learn and navigate Agency Management Systems, Imaging Systems, and various insurance carrier portals .

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks accurately and meet deadlines .

• Effective written communication skills for professional email correspondence with clients and carriers .

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment .

• Basic understanding of employee benefits terminology and processes is advantageous .

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve discrepancies efficiently .

• Life & Health license preferred
